JobGizmo provides many basic features that can make it much easier for users to search for potential jobs. The application does not offer anything that can truly be considered new, however it does bring together many convenient features. These include the JobGizmo browser button that allows the user to easily add the job listings they come across to their list of potential careers.
The JobGizmo website utilizes a pleasant blue and black color scheme highlighted by the sprocket shaped icon that circles the “o” in the logo. Users can find navigational links at the top of the page. The job listings and other tools built into the application are very neat and clean, with no clutter to get in the way of the user’s job search. The mobile app version matches the web version, however it also adds the visual benefit of Google Maps.
A new user can get started with JobGizmo by clicking the blue and white “Pricing and Sign Up” button in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. Doing so takes the user to the 14 day free trial sign up page. Clicking the green “Activate” button presents the user with the short registration form. The form requires an email address, username and password. The user can also enter an optional coupon code if they have one.
JobGizmo invites all new users to try the service for free for 14 days. JobGizmo offers two membership plans that the user must choose between after completing their free trial. The first provides the user with three months of unlimited access for around $25. The user can also choose the unemployed plan for around $20. Users are permitted to cancel their paid membership at any time.
